"I am passionate about buildings where people and the planet can thrive."
Born and raised in Germany, my approach to architecture has been shaped by experiences across Germany, New York and New Zealand.
My early work focused on residential architecture, where I developed a strong interest in how light, air and the connection between inside and outside shape the way we live. Later, working on high-end commercial and residential projects in Germany and gaining experience with a wide range of building types in New Zealand, I developed a broader understanding of architecture, construction and the people who use our buildings.
Moving to New Zealand made me question why, despite our abundance of light, air and sun, so many homes still struggle to provide a healthy and comfortable living environment. This led me to Passive House and, after completing my Certified Passive House Designer training in 2022, it became a central part of my approach to design.
Today, I am passionate about creating architecture that is beautiful, practical and built for people and the planet — combining good design with building science to create healthier, more comfortable and energy-efficient spaces.
